What does it mean to be an independent traveler?

Independent travel means executing a trip on your own. Unlike a bus-sized tour group, independent travel allows more flexibility to make your own decisions, allows your preferences on your own time. It also offers accommodations in the best locations, dining in intimate restaurants and private tours that permit a more immersive experience into the culture and the people.

How much notice do you need to plan my trip?

Depending on the season, your bucket list items and travel budget, we recommended preparing for your trip 2-6 months in advance.

How long does it take to get my final itinerary?

Depending on the length of the trip and if adjustments need to be made to guarantee a satisfactory itinerary, you can expect the custom travel plan process to be completed 2-3 weeks end-to-end.

What if I want to make changes to the itinerary?

Changes to bookings can be completed 48 hours before takeoff with the exception of air travel.

What happens if I need to cancel my trip?

If you need to cancel your trip for any reason, our planning fees can be used as a credit towards a future trip, and do not expire.  It is highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance that will cover travel costs including non-refundable airfare, hotels, activities, etc.  We are happy to make recommendations.
